Shiro Classic Umeshu is a liqueur made from ume, a small Japanese fruit similar to plum, produced by Nakata, a famous Japanese food and beverage company.

Revealing a rich aromatic profile, the House's flagship product expresses a natural acidity and a round and ripe fruitiness with plum and yellow fruit aromas. This umeshu is made from a variety of ume fruit from the Wakayama region, famous for its cultivation, macerated with sugar in alcohol.

This umeshu accompanies all dishes, whether savory or sweet, but can also be enjoyed with sparkling water or used as a cocktail ingredient.
