Mars Komagatake Tsunuki Aging 2020 is a single malt with a sweet, smooth and slightly spicy profile that reveals fruity notes of citrus and candied fruits on the nose, coated with a touch of peat. On the palate, the fruity side asserts itself with greedy vanilla aromas and the appearance of spicy notes, which will continue in a tasty and slightly smoked finish.
With its two distilleries, Shinshu located at 800 meters altitude in the heart of the Japanese Alps and Tsunuki recently commissioned on the island of Kagoshima where the climate is warmer, and its various wineries including Yakushima, Mars Whisky continues to experiment with the influence of climate on the aging of whiskey and offers each year limited editions of its emblematic single malt Komagatake which is distilled in Shinshu.

Built at the foot of Mount Komagatake, from which its single malt takes its name, the distillery is surrounded by pure water springs which it uses for the production of its whiskies.
