Read moreGyokuto whisky is a Japanese world blend whose quality highlights all the know-how in the art of blending of the small distillery Saburomaru.
Composed of a blend of single malts distilled at Saburomaru and grain whiskies from Scotland, this small batch has a strong character expressing a well marked peat around 50ppm, but which leaves room for a whole bouquet of greedy aromas including notes of plum, hazelnut, red wine and baked apples, and a touch of leather.
Gyokuto is a creature from Japanese folklore, representing a white rabbit living on the moon, and this edition is part of the japanese world blends Moon Glow series paying homage to the moon, with a new edition every year since the distillery opened in 2018.
Uncolored and unchill-filtered, Saburomaru Blend Gyokuto was created from a rigorous selection of bourbon, sherry and the very rare Mizunara casks giving birth to 9000 bottles for this 2021 edition.
Product limited to 1 bottles per order.
