Sakurao Hassaku Rocks is a fruit liqueur made from a small Japanese citrus fruit related to grapefruit, harvested in the vicinity of the distillery in the Hiroshima region.
Both sweet and refreshing, this liqueur expresses tangy notes of grapefruit that can accompany the end of a meal as a digestive. You can choose to enjoy it on the rocks with ice or as a cocktail ingredient.
Sakurao Hassaku Rocks has a 2-step manufacturing process: the distillation of an infusion of hassaku peel and the distillation of the infused peel to extract the essential oil of the hassaku fruit and the maximum of flavors. At the end of the process, pure hassaku juice is added to reinforce the intensity of the fruit aromas.

The distillery Sakurao Distillery
Although the Sakurao Distillery is new to the Japanese whisky distilleries circle, it can draw on the experience of its founder, the Chugoku Jozo house with whom we have worked for years. Renowned for being teeming with natural wonders, it was in Hiroshima Prefecture that she naturally settled down.
