Ryusei Shiro Junmai is a premium sake from Fujii Shuzo brewery, made from 100% of yamada nishiki, the most premium variety of rice specially grown for brewing sake.
Its refreshing profile reveals fruity notes of melon, white peach, muscatel, and also reveals a slight acidity comparable to that of an Alsatian wine. Entirely hand-brewed using a traditional method, this sake is the proud representative of the know-how accumulated over generations and was awarded a gold medal at the Kura Master 2021, a sake tasting competition.
Like most premium sakes, Ryusei Shiro Junmai Ginjo can be enjoyed chilled and is an ideal accompaniment to both soft and hard cheeses. It can also be enjoyed at the end of a meal with all types of sweet desserts for a typical Japanese tasting experience.

Brewery Fujii Shuzo - Ryusei
Fujii was founded in 1863 in Takehara, a region of Hiroshima Prefecture known for its high quality water, ideal for the production of premium sake.
Since its inception, the small company has aimed to uphold tradition by producing only junmai sake with the three essential ingredients, rice, water, and kōji. It is through the traditional Kimoto method that the brewery emphasizes brewing, the starting point in sake making.
