Ryusei Night Emperor Junmai Ginjo is a special cuvee from Fujii Shuzo that was made with three different types of sake rice grown in the Hiroshima area; hattan nishiki, yamada nishiki and omachi.
Founded in 1863, the small craft brewery created The Emperor of the Night in 1982 with the ambition of offering a strong sake taste. The rice notes bring the sweetness and roundness that counterbalance the fruity and lactic profile of this traditional sake.
Ryusei Night Emperor Junmai Ginjo is a versatile sake that can be enjoyed in a wide range of temperatures, from cold to hot. When served cold, its profile is dry, but when warmed, the sweetness of the rice is enhanced.

Brewery Fujii Shuzo - Ryusei
Fujii was founded in 1863 in Takehara, a region of Hiroshima Prefecture known for its high quality water, ideal for the production of premium sake.
Since its inception, the small company has aimed to uphold tradition by producing only junmai sake with the three essential ingredients, rice, water, and kōji. It is through the traditional Kimoto method that the brewery emphasizes brewing, the starting point in sake making.
