Composed of a large majority of single malts aged in sherry casks and matured for a minimum of 25 years, this Yamazaki single malt is an exceptional whisky of great rarity. It expresses all the characteristics of the whiskies produced at the distillery, a deep complexity, a rich, fruity and woody palette typical of sherry cask aged whiskies but also a perfect balance between strength and sweetness.

On the nose, notes of dried cherries, red currants, tomato purée and walnuts take the lead, followed by aromas of cocoa, coffee, almond and strawberry marmalade. This aromatic farandole ends gently in a finish of endless depth.

Yamazaki 25 years old is a single malt to be drunk slowly on special occasions and will satisfy the most demanding amateurs. 

This product is exclusively limited to France.

The distillery Yamazaki

Officially considered as the first whisky distillery in the archipelago, Yamazaki was founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii (founder of Suntory).


Located a few kilometers south of the city of Kyoto in the mountainous area of Shimamoto, which in the sixteenth century, was the stronghold of the famous Sen no Rikyu, master chanoyu (tea ceremony), who settled there for its pures water sources.
